North American Technician Excellence
In an effort to help contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus, NATE staff moved to a total telework policy beginning Tuesday, March 17. We all have the technological capability to carry out our responsibilities working remotely and our commitment to quality service to our industry partners remains unchanged during this unprecedented period.
NATE is aware that many training courses are being cancelled to prevent the spread of the virus. If you are unable to complete your continuing education hours and your certification is expiring between January 1st 2020 and March 31st 2021, please contact NATE at askNATE@natex.org to request an extension. There are also a list of online training courses available here: https://www.natex.org/site/434/Recertification/Earn-Training-Hours.
In an effort to help keep everyone safe and healthy during this time, NATE is working with Scantron to set up Live Online Proctoring for our current exams. In this process, a technician can either create their account or login to their myNATE account, and set up a test session. Once this process has been finalized, NATE will have instructions on how to set this up.
Please take a moment to watch this video by Edward McFarlane, it is a great video with helpful tips on how you can stay healthy and safe during this time.
We appreciate your patience and urge you to contact us if you have questions or concerns. All the staff wishes our industry partners good health and safety in this difficult time.
