Ready-to-Work Test
This entry-level exam is designed for technicians who are just entering the HVACR field with little to no formal education or training.
Includes a study guide which focuses on fundamental job knowledge and skills needed to enter the HVACR workforce.
This exam is only available online and does not require a proctor, so it can be taken from any computer, anywhere, including at home. The exam cost $50 and includes a downloadable study guide and available when exam is ordered. Retakes of the exam for the same technician cost $35 each.
Those who pass this exam earn a certificate, not a NATE certification.
