NATE Announces May NATE Bowl Winners
Countdown to Super Bowl XLIII Prize Giveaway Underway
(June 6, 2008, Arlington, VA.) — With four months completed and four yet to go, it’s
half-time at NATE Bowl. While it is still several months until Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa,
anticipation is already mounting as to who will be visiting the greatest game on the
gridiron courtesy of NATE. Contractors from around the nation are bringing their Agames
to the certification competition via the NATE Bowl contest, which kicked-off on
Feb. 1, 2008.
Since February, contractors have been rewarded for their efforts in certifying – and
recertifying – technicians. The competition is fierce, but there is still time to get in the
game. Complete details on NATE Bowl can be found at www.natex.org.
NATE is pleased to announce the contractor winners of for May 2008 below:
- Division leaders for May 2008: Division 1 – Cropp-Metcalfe, Beltsville, MD
Division 2 – BW Service Experts, Mishawaka, IN; and Division 3 – Anderson
Brothers, Kearney, NE.

“It’s essentially half-time in the NATE Bowl competition with four months down
and four still to go. There is still plenty of opportunity for contractors and technicians to
participate in this certification competition,” noted Rex Boynton, president of NATE.
In addition to receiving monthly prizes, the five contractors at the end of the
contest with the most NATE Bowl points in each of the three “divisions” will be entered
into a grand prize drawing for a Super Bowl XLIII package to be announced in early
November. Teams can earn points for every NATE-certified technician they have on
staff. Additional points can be earned each time a technician gets certified (or recertified)
or earns additional NATE credentials. All points accrue during the NATE Bowl
season, which lasts through October 2008.
Special thanks go to JB Industries, Johnstone Supply, Baker Industries, Testo
and Yellow Jacket for their support of providing tools of the trade for NATE Bowl prizes.
NATE, headquartered in Arlington, VA., was founded in 1997 and is the only
technician certification organization governed, owned, operated, developed and
supported by the HVACR industry.
