Fall Meeting Held in Arlington, VA on Thursday, September 13, 2012
ARLINGTON, VA. – (September 24, 2012) – North American Technician Excellence (NATE) held its biannual Board of Trustees meeting on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Members of the board travelled from different areas throughout the country to attend the fall meeting at NATE headquarters in Arlington, VA.
Don Frendberg, Chairman of the NATE Board of Trustees and Principal, Phase 3 Insights LLC, Columbus, OH presided over the meeting. Denny Smith was officially introduced to the board and provided updates on NATE’s certification program. Joel Owen, Manager, HVAC Training Center with Alabama Power, Verbena, AL, and Chairman of NATE’s Technical Committee reported on activities of the Technical Committee. Guido Zucconi, AHRI’s Director of Congressional Affairs and Phillip Wallace, AHRI’s Manager of Government Affairs provided updates on Government Relations activities. Finally, Chicago-based Marketing Support, Inc., NATE’s agency of record, also shared an overview of marketing efforts and initiatives in 2012, and objectives for 2013.
The Board of Trustees recognized and thanked Matt Michel, President/CEO of Service Round Table, Flower Mound, TX, and Carol Poindexter, President, Baker Distributing Company, Jacksonville, FL for their service to the NATE Board.
