The Information, Forms & Data page (formerly known as the Forms & Data page) is the central resource in the NATE system. From here you can link to NATE forms, or informational pieces, order blanks, the knowledge base from which all tests are drawn—the KATEs (Knowledge Areas of Technician Expertise).
Check around the sections and familiarize with the site. Most NATE forms and documentation is located here, including a locator that lets technicians enter data and check on their certification and expiration dates.
Under Tests and Testing, technicians can locate a list of scheduled tests that updates daily, and Testing Organizations can find application forms and policies, procedures and guidelines
for paper and pencils as well as electronic test sessions. Proctors can find the same. There is an Exam Order and Test Scheduling form you can print off, complete and fax in. All by clicking on data and printing it out or following the prompts.
Electronic testing is quick and easy, allowing testing
organizations and proctors to administer electronic tests to
candidates almost "on demand" with only an hour's notice to set the
session up (during normal working hours).
