NATE-Certified Technicians Are Good For Business
Why employ NATE HVAC certified technicians? According to a Service Roundtable's Impact Study ,survey and industry data, contractor awareness of NATE is 96 percent, and three out of four contractors agree that NATE Certification is important to their company’s success. Two out of three contractors rated NATE as the recognized leader in certification, and more than half said it directly led to performance excellence. The Impact Study also compared the performance of NATE-certified technicians with those who were not certified. It showed that the NATE technicians had fewer callbacks than uncertified techs, had higher billable efficiency and were much more likely to be considered “extremely valuable” workers by their employers.
One Test for the HVAC/R Industry
There is only one true test of technician excellence for contractors in the HVACR industry, and only one place to get it…from North American Technician Excellence. NATE and the entire industry have joined forces to support a single, unified, nationwide standard for technician excellence which is reflected in the NATE exams for residential HVAC and light commercial and commercial refrigeration HVACR installation and service. All NATE partners have input and are invited to be on the NATE Technical Committee.
