Whether you are a one-person shop or have NATE-certified technicians in multiple locations, NATE's Consumer Contractor Connection (C3) is the best way to let customers know you employ NATE-certified technicians.

Over 110 million readers have seen a Public Service Announcement in a newspaper about NATE and the value of asking for a NATE-certified technician. Over 304 million aggregate listeners heard a NATE Public Service Announcement telling them how to save on heating or cooling bills, how to find a contractor, or how to choose an Energy Star compliant piece of equipment when replacing a home unit. With 13-SEER requirements it is more important than ever for you to let them know you have NATE-certified technicians. 

To be listed on NATE’s C3, you need to have at least 50 percent of your technicians NATE-certified. Contractors listed on NATE’s C3 who have 80 percent of their technicians certified by NATE with at least one NATE-certified technician holding certification in each area of installation and/or service offered by the contractor are considered NATE Quality Circle contractors and receive premier placement in online searches by consumers.

If you are interested in NATE’s Consumer Contractor Connection, please click on the link below to sign up. Enter your company information and you will be assigned a C3 number. Please write this number down as you will need it and the PIN you choose each time you want to update your records. Enter your PIN and the total number of employed technicians, and then hit “Enter” to submit.

Note: Before beginning the process please have your technicians NATE ID numbers as you will be asked to enter them.  Additionally make sure your technicians work contact is the same as your company.  Your application will not be approved if all of the listed technicians are properly linked to the company.
